| What will this survey achieve? | It will allow you to provide frank and fearless feedback on your dealings with the major supermarkets and wholesalers to the Independent Reviewer. These insights will contribute to improving conduct across the industry. |
| Who is running this survey? | The Independent Reviewer for the Food & Grocery Code of Conduct, who has been appointed by Assistant Treasurer Michael Sukkar under the Competition and Consumer Act. |

| Who will see the responses? | The Independent Reviewer and the Secretariat in Treasury. An anonymised high-level summary will be published on the Independent Reviewer’s website. Anonymised peer comparison feedback will be provided to Aldi, Coles, Metcash and Woolworths to help them identify areas for improvement. |
| Who is being surveyed? | The survey is open to 100% of direct product suppliers to Aldi, Coles, Metcash and Woolworths. One survey response per organisation only. We recommend the survey be completed by the Managing Director, Sales Director or National Accounts Manager. |
| Do I have to respond? | No – participation is voluntary. However, your voice will only be heard if you participate. |
| Can I respond anonymously? | Yes. However, even if you choose to be identified, your information will be kept confidential. The responses will be aggregated and de-identified so there will be no way for your responses or your issues to be traced back to a single party. |
| Has this survey been run before? | No – this is the first time such a survey has been run by the Independent Reviewer and will be conducted on an annual basis. |
| When does the survey close? | 17 October 2021 |
